Our Office in Romania

Synergy Business Development intervenes in Romania within the framework of regular partnerships with Rumanian and foreign law firms.

Because of the development of the economic and social activity in Romania and multiplication of the files to be treated in this country, the Bucharest Office was open in December 2004, under the responsibility of its associate resident. 

SBD Bucharest is currently composed of dozens of lawyers and Romanian, French and American legal consultants who are independent or coming from various Firms.

All the documents prepared by SBD Bucharest can be compiled in Romanian, English or French. 

The lawyers have legal capacities of foreground as of good cultural knowledge which facilitates the contacts with the Romanian authorities and partners.

Corporate law

SBD Bucharest advises foreign investors in the choice of the local structure most adapted to their establishment for setting up new businesses (company with mixed capital or completely foreign capital, branch, representative office, etc.) and, more generally, assists them on all the questions of company law (the responsibility for the social leaders, rules of quorum and majority, etc).

SBD Bucharest regularly advises European and international groups in distribution and competition law and intervenes, for this reason, in the implementation of distribution networks (drafting and negotiation of contracts of distribution, in particular). 

The Office acquired great experience as regards the notification with the Romanian Council of the Competition of the operations of economic concentration resulting as well from acquisitions of Romanian companies as of foreign companies represented in Romania through Romanian subsidiary companies.
